Vendeta Posted October 21, 2008 Share Posted October 21, 2008 I just bought a new Compaq (specs at http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetai...9268&catid= ) and i got my nice mac os kaly amd disc and threw it in hoping to plug in mac (i did not research the mac combatibility on the computer) and i get the still waiting for root device error, after some research i found out that it is that Mac does not support my Sata chipset.
