Housekat23 Posted October 21, 2008 Share Posted October 21, 2008 I just finished a new installation, ideneb 10.5.4 I had the Do you already a Mac issue, I changed the root password and now I am stuck at the login screen, I can't seem to get past it. If that doesn't work, you can boot in single user mode and make a new admin by: /sbin/mount / mv /var/db/.AppleSetupDone /var/db/.AppleSetupDone.old reboot Once you have done that, after you reboot you will see the "Setup You Mac" video and get to make a new user (this will not delete any old users unless you use the same name as one of them).
