Some questions about the install requirements in a desktop and notebook

Hi! this is my first time in try to install de Leopard MAC OS so i need some help....

 

I want to buy an extern HD to install the Leopard 10.5.4 but i want to know if i can install in this machines without problems:

 

Desktop:

C2Q 9550

ATI RADEON 4870

HD 500

HD 160

Motherboard P5Q-E

8GB Ram DDR2

PS: i can install in the hd 160gb...

 

and the notebook is an Dell Vostro 1000

AMD 64 Athlon X2

2GB DDR2

Ati xpress
