Problem:

When booting from the dvd, a kernel panic occurs. It reads something like:

"got _PSS data for cpu index 1, but expected index n. ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin "

I am willing to try any DVD and/or version of OSX. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might install?

Try Ideneb 10.5.5 i have that installed on mine and i have not problems booting.

ITs also worth a shot to press F8 at DVD bootup and type platform=x86pc cpus=1 -v and see if it will boot that way
