ecluley
OK, i inadvertently sorted mine. basically. once installed osx86, back up all kexts using osx86 tools. i then updated to 10.5.5 where I had this problem and then restored the kext from 10.5.1 that i had backed up and all sorted. i was trying to fix a gfx issue but it sorted this too. so it must be one of the kexts causing the prob, dunno which one tho cause im a bit of a noob! hope that helps.
