macpoo Posted October 19, 2008 Share Posted October 19, 2008 Hi, just wondering if anyone has had any luck with the hp tx2510us model in order for getting leopard or tiger to run successfully. I have tried many versions of installation dvds with kernel panics to waiting for root device errors and I still cannot get to the setup screen....seems like the dvd drive just stops after awhile and that is the root device it is looking for...i would try to somehow transfer the dvd install to a hard drive so i could use an external drive as the root drive but i dont know how to do that...if anyone has had any luck with this model please let me know or if anyone who could offer some suggestions...thank you for your help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
