Metallica35 Posted October 19, 2008 Share Posted October 19, 2008 I have gone through all the steps to install mac os and it works, but when I go to reboot i get stuck at the white loading screen. My customize options are probably not correct, and I'm not sure which ones I need to use. Here are my Specs below: Acer Aspire M5630 (desktop) -2.2 ghz intel core 2 duo processor -ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro -4gb DDR2 memory -500GB SATA Hard Drive Anyone...please help!!!! jy371 Posted November 21, 2008 Share Posted November 21, 2008 Do you know the chipset using? If intel chipset mobo, it can use any kernels with "ICHx Fixed". Don't check any network option! It makes you looping at inputting profile. When you install on SATA drive, please change BIOS: SATA: AHCI. I did use RAID (as it is default for VISTA) which brought "Still waiting for root device" error or Gray Apple Screen. Lastly, you may try Kalyway DVD which work well with BIOS: SATA: RAID and upgrade to 10.5.5.
