pygoscelis
/System/Library/Extensions/IOUSBFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleUSBEHCI.kext/Contents/ Was installing a kext from Superhai (EHCISleepEnabler.kext). I modified the 'Contents' file of AppleUSBHCI.kext and it started an kernel panic. Everytime it boots up, the kernel panic will appear. Any Darwin boot command (eg. -'x' /file/) to stop the booting of this modified file?
lord lucifer
Well you should've backed up the kext before modifying it but you should be able to find it on the dvd just replace it with the original repair permissions and it should boot
pygoscelis
Ok, i solved the problem whereby my install disc won't boot. Now all I need is to replace it... Another problem surfaces, the installation disc does not see my harddrive.
