drunknbass Posted October 19, 2008 Share Posted October 19, 2008 i have this old pos laptop that im surprised can even run osx at all, but i tried to give it another go and get something working even if its barely working.. and i got 10.5.5 installed using ideneb disk. now i notice i have the same issue i had the other time i had osx installed (10.5.0 at that time) the issue is basically if i boot the laptop off the battery the spinning wheel on grey boot screen goes slow, and then when i get into the os the pinwheel spins and basically the whole os seems like its suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper slow to do anything. but if i boot with it plugged in its fine, and if i unplug it at that point its also still fine.. so i am just curious what causes this and is there any fix.
