Dell Vostro 1500

Hey guys I'm kinda new to here,

but my problem is I have the OS X 10.4.4 and I can boot with the CD but at the point of installation it asks me

for the hard drive partition to install the OS and I don't find any HDD except the DVD drive.

I have Dell Vostro 1500

Intel Core 2 Duo 1.4 GHz

2 GB RAM

NVidea GeFOrce 8400 MS

120 GB of HDD partitioned in NTFS

an external Hard Drive 320GB

So where do I get the solution for this?
