birdie
I have been following the ~pcwiz tutorial... I had it working ok using Kalyway 10.5.2 disk until i installed the Kalyway 10.5.3 Combo Update... I installed part 1 and didn't slect reboot then i installed part 2 without selecting anything and then clicked reboot... Now it just sits at the apple screen with the spinning circle (made of lines) or if i boot with the -v option it gets to (the last 2 lines): Darwin Kernal Version 9.2.2: Tue Mar 4 21:17:34 PST 2008; root:xnu-1228.4.31~1/RELEASE_I386 System model name: EP35-DS3R and thats it... i did notice up a few lines from that though it says: panic(cpu 3 caller 0x00192EE1): ~pmap_flush_tlbs() timeout: " "cpu 0 failing to respond to interrupts, pmap=0x534500 cpus_to_signal=1"@/SourceCache/xnu/xnu-1228.4.31/osfmk/i386/pmap.c:4570 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/131664-gigabyte-ga-ep35-ds3r-not-booting-after-1053-kalyway-update/ Share on other sites

birdie
I got it working (I reinstalled from scratch and still got the same problem) by after updating to 10.5.3 and rebooting, i then had to press F8 at the boot prompt and type update -v and that fixed the problem....
