micky01 Posted October 16, 2008 Share Posted October 16, 2008 i have just installed iATKOS_r3 i managed to erase the disk no problem, in customize i selected BOOTLOADERS efi bootloader PATCH< remove cpumangment driver remove thermal kexts DRIVER applesmbio.kext SATA< once installed i booted from the iATKOS_r3 dvd went to disk utils and verified and repaired disk permissions,< reset booted with -f -v cpus=1, the system just reset itself after a few lines, just before it boots into the mac side of things what is the problem, how do i solve it?? the guide on how to install on an nforce chipset was here, http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=83092" ;it looks to be an IDE hdd guide, so i added the sata driver in, tried it again without this driver and still the same problem the bit about the disc permissions came from here, http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...rt=#entry279742 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
