I have tried following the following guide: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=109102 with/without http://netkas.org/?p=50 but it hangs completely between 45% and 52% If you have gotten to update -- please let us know. I would appreciate any help I can get. System: Lenovo Y510, Wireless: Intel 4965 Wired: Broadcom 5906 Mem: 2 Gig HD: 250 On the side note: when I come to boot screen, I type the following mach_kernel -v cpus=1 rd=disk1s2 as system starts booting from the USB HDD, I get error message that the boot kernel is different ... (I cant remember the rest). what is the command to execute the kernel from the USB drive rather than one that is installed on the internal HD?
