marinex17 Posted October 16, 2008 Share Posted October 16, 2008 after installation of kalyway 10.5.2 and updating with the jas combo update to 10.5.3 my ide hdd is rly slow now. sata works just fine. when transferring data to the ide drive its takes a rly long time and slows the whole computer down, everything becomes sluggish. xbench scores. hardware config mobo:ecs alhena5 all working OOB (except the slow ide problem) sata, lan, QE all of it. cpu:intel P4 @ 3.0 ghz gfx:evga geforce 8600gt Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
