Leo4all 10.5.2, Gigabyte GA-P35-D3SL Rev 2.0, E4300 C2D, 2gb DDR2 800, 7950gt.

So I have a MacAlly PHR-100AC external HD enclosure. It has both USB2.0 and Firewire connectivity. I seem to have no trouble access the HD using the Firewire interface. But when I use the USB2 connector, OSX will not mount it. I should note both USB and Firewire are connected using a PCI adapter card (my mobo doesnt have Firewire).

When I open console, I see these errors:

Oct 15 19:40:43 12-201-65-136 fseventsd[41]: scan_old: bailing out because device mounted @ /Volumes/System has dls 0x0 and dls->fci 0x0

google doesnt help me. I have no idea what this means. Any ideas?
