First install of JAS osx86 10.5.4 intel SSE2 SSE3

 

Install in clean external USB Hard Drive.

 

No Options, no kexts, no nothing. As I said 1st install.

 

First impression : Keyboard and Touchpad not working after first reboot, solved with a usb wireless Kbd+mouse, but not a true mobile instalation. I will sincerely appreciate any help with that and everything else of course!

 

 

Bluetooth detected my SE K800i without any troubles.

No audio device detected.

Sony integrated camera working (I even captured an image for the login prompt)

No way to properly shutdown.

ATI HD 3650 not working.

Ethernet and Wireless Lan not working.

Bluray reader seems to work fine with DVDs and CDs.

Firewire working ok.

USB seems to work fine, managed HD and KBD-Mouse

Internal SATA Drive visible during instalation.

SD Cards not mounted on insertion but ... hanged on rainbow cursor (fat32 formatted)

Keyboard + Trackpad Solved

 

done this

 

cd "/Volumes/(name-of-OSX-partition)"   <--- use quotes if name has spaces
										- but don't use parentheses
diskutil repairPermissions ./
cd System/Library
rm -rf Extensions.mkext Extensions.kextcache
cd Extensions
find ApplePS2Controller.kext -type d -exec chmod 755 {} \;
find ApplePS2Controller.kext -type f -exec chmod 644 {} \;
chown -R root:wheel ApplePS2Controller.kext

 

Discovered ApplePS2Controller not installed.

 

Installed ApplePS2Controller.pkg and followed the permission repair process JIC
