I have found it very imformative and instructional looking at all the various configurations and releases of 0Sx86. I am after the defiant disk utility patch, aka defiant.diskutil.7.ppf to patch my Jas 10.4.8 disk. This release has given me the best (and easiest) results so far and I have tried a {censored} load of releases. If anyone has this patch, could they please up it somewhere, or PM me a link or something so that I have finally see if this baby boots! Any assistance at all would be most appreciated. I'm a n00b to this whole thing, but love my macbook and want to get back to enjoying my desktop computer experience hopefully with a mac install. Thanks muchly in advance! Wow... i have started to download the jas 10.4.8 with ppf2... apparently it has it built in, but if someone could please let me know where i could find it, it would save me 4gb of precious bandwidth.
