ckybam69 Posted October 15, 2008 Share Posted October 15, 2008 ok so i am confused on what to do for audio. i have sound from the speakers and volume control works, but i can use headphones or mic. i have tried every alc861 and alc862 dump i can find. i tried to make a dump from the ubuntu live cd but all i get is : Codec: Generic 11c1 Si3054 Address: 0 Vendor Id: 0x11c11040 Subsystem Id: 0x11790001 Revision Id: 0x100200 i am looking for some direction as i am a nub to this stuff. i have searched everywhere and everything i found does not work. i have had to reinstall osx like 10 times now so im giving this one last try. please any help. i am on a toshiba satellite notebook 135-s2266. its the ati radeon x200m chipset. http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su...kceghdgngdgmm.0 thats the detailed specs. any help would be greatly greatly appreciated.
