oggmonster Posted October 15, 2008 Share Posted October 15, 2008 Hey all. Have installed Ideneb v1.3 (10.5.5). After spending hours on the dreaded "Still waiting for root device" problem (which I managed to solve by myself ). Basically I get the whiteish screen with gray the apple logo. It loads for a little while then my monitor just goes blank with no signal input. The monitor is a samsung 226bw with naitive res @ 1680x1050. I know something is happening due to the HDD LED flashing. Ive been looking around and from what I can gather I need to install special drivers or kext files? I have no idea how to do this so any help would be great. Heres my system spec just incase its needed Q6600 @ 3.6GHZ 768MB 8800GTX 22" Samsung 226bw Asus P5K Deluxe 2x2GB G-Skill 800mhz RAM 500GB SATA2 HDD (with vista x64) 160GB SATA2 HDD (with my Ideneb installation on) Bluray/dvd rw drive SATA DVD RW drive IDE Any help would be great.
