blubbster Posted October 12, 2008 Share Posted October 12, 2008 I have succeeded installing iAtkos v4i on a Compaq V2000 laptop. But when I try to boot my machine it hangs on the white apple screen. I tried booting with -v and got the following error output shown below. I am quite desperate and hoping that the experts in this forum can give me some directions on what to try next. Thanks! blubbster Posted October 12, 2008 Author Share Posted October 12, 2008 I tried -x and got pretty much the same output with one additional line: RTL8139::fixEnetFlowControl - Flow Control is disabled I forgot to mention: I partitioned the hard drive during installation. First try was Extended FS (or something like that) with Journaling and second try was without Journaling. The result was the same on both. After the installer ran from the DVD, the computer would get into an infinite loop of rebooting. I shut it down, pulled the DVD and I am getting this result.
