fatguy902 Posted October 11, 2008 Share Posted October 11, 2008 I'm a complete noob to the mac and just trying/testing a few things, it looked like an interesting project. I'm using Kalyway 10.5.2 on an Intel D945CGLF mainboard, everything (almost) is working except the 3D Acceleration. I know that the GMA950 isn't going to give great 3D performance, it doesn't in XP, but is supported in XP. When i try to start an app that uses 3D i get '.. unable to startup 3D acceleration'. Has anyone been able to get 3D acceleration to work on the GMA950 in OSX, and if so, how did you get it to work? tomnic Posted October 12, 2008 Share Posted October 12, 2008 Using perfectly (except for little tearing) 3d acceleration under this really nice board... update to 10.5.5 and, if you want, fix resolution change using fixed framebuffer from tiger... that should work!
