oioioi Posted October 11, 2008 Share Posted October 11, 2008 I am having some trouble creating a partition with GParted. My PC is a Dell dimension 9200 with vista. I have two HDs of 320 GB and both show up as only unallocated. here is my output from fdisk -l Disk /dev/sda: 320,0 GB, 320072933376 bytes 255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 38913 cylinders Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes Disk identifier: 0x50000000 Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System /dev/sda1 1 7 56196 de Dell Utility /dev/sda2 8 1313 10485760 7 HPFS/NTFS /dev/sda3 * 1313 77826 614594528 7 HPFS/NTFS Disk /dev/sdb: 320,0 GB, 320072933376 bytes 255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 38913 cylinders Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes Disk identifier: 0x00000000 Disk /dev/sdb doesn't contain avalid partition table Any one know how to fix this problem or a alternative way of making a partition to install Leopard on?
