panggeulisna Posted October 11, 2008 Share Posted October 11, 2008 Hi All, I get new laptop Lenovo Y530 with spec: Core 2 duo 2.4G, GeForce 9500M G 256 MB, 2G RAM, dual boot Vista & Kalyway 10.5.2. I already tried NVInstaller v.52 and EFIStudio but IC/EQ still not supported! Could some body help me? Thanks. Thank you for your information but I just upgrade the Kalyway to 10.5.5 (faster & more stable), I have tried install nvdarwin 1.2.4 as your suggested. It's show correct chipset model (as NVIDIA GeForce 9500M G) at system profiler but CI/QE is still not supported. Than I installed aquamac installer to upgare the NVIDIA kext to 9xxx series. It made any display resolution option available and support dual monitor but CI/QE is still not supported . Any other suggestions to try? Thanks. panggeulisna Posted December 20, 2008 Author Share Posted December 20, 2008 Hi All, SOLVED!! 1. Upgrade from 10.5.2 to 10.5.3 combo update and choose Vanilla 9.3 2. Upgrade to 10.5.4 delta update 3. Update to 10.5.5 delta update by 3rr0rists 4. Safe mode, install update Nvidia 9xxx series by aqua-mac, install NVDarwin 1.2.5, set correct dev ID 5. Reboot and WORK!!! QE/IC enable. In everytopic people are talking about setting device id when using vvdarwin. what do you mean with set correct device id? where I should write my device id exactly????
