dRkLePtO
Hi, I'm doing networked TimeMachine backups on a Windows server. As many of you knows TimeMachine stores the backups in a "sparsebundle" disk image, when backing up over network. This is all-right when working on a Mac.. But what if I'm gonna open this volumes on Windows? I mean, if I need to recover something from the backup and my Mac stop working?? Is there any way to mount a sparsebundle volume on a Windows machine? Thanks for you tips.. Cheers! tomazzzi
No no way this is apple specific, you won t be able to mount the drive on Windows. Though you can access the files with mac drive.
