BlackTiger
Hello, yes you can have the dual boot, just copy the file "chain 0" in your tiger disk, paste it in your windows root drive. There is a topic where you can have the complete instruction to do it. accidue
Just confirming that I dual boot with 2 hdds: 1st HDD Windows XP (NTFS) 2nd HDD for the MacOSx86 (HFS+) My install procedure was I had an existing WinXP and added a brand new 2nd HD partitioned with a single "af" partition created using Ubuntu's fdisk. I installed using a pre-patched DVD and formatted the partition using the Disc Tool during install. I boot using the existing WindowsXP bootloader using the chain0 file (there are many places to download this, its a tiny file0. Everything works like a charm. I followed the steps to create a chain0 file here and it works perfectly fine. My Vista bootloader even picks up OSX --> triple boot Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/13048-quick-question-about-osx-on-seperate-hdd/#findComment-83114 Share on other sites
