TheHammer417 Posted October 9, 2008 Share Posted October 9, 2008 ok got the kalyway 10.5.2 install... starts it fine, but when i choose my hard drive to install on, i cannot install on either. tells me that the drives cannot be modified...i'm lost...any help? Go to Utilities and select Disk Utility or something like that and select your hard drive, then Erase (IT WILL ERASE EVERYTHING ON YOUR HARD DRIVE!). Oh and be sure to select Macintosh Extension format or it will have a install failure. Rich_Wit_It Posted October 10, 2008 Share Posted October 10, 2008 Yeah you wanna do that, name your drive, select "Mac OS Extended" and then hit erase. That'll wipe your whole drive out so if you have something on it you better get it off.
