Backroll Posted October 8, 2008 Share Posted October 8, 2008 I installed 10.5.4 using iAktos v1.0ir2 on my inspirion 1525 and got almost everything working except for changing my screen resolution. To do that I found a patch that supposedly work after updating to 10.5.5, which I (foolishly) did without looking to see if there were any caviats to the update. I installed using efi so I thought it would work without a problem. Instead the os will no longer boot; it always loads for a little bit and then asks me to restart my computer by holding the power button. Is there anyway to salvage this situation (i.e. get the os to load again), or will I have to do anyother fresh install? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
