Total n00b
Ok, so I'm a n00b at this but I think I've done quite well to get to a fully working hackintosh without asking some insanely dumb question until now, I've done some searching but everything I found seems to be the opposite of what I want to do. I've set up my hackintosh because my mac mini doesn't cut the mustard for 3D and video work. Most of my stuff is on mac but a few programs are PC based. Heres the question. Is it possible to run the mac version of parallels on my hackintosh and run my main Vista 64 partition as a virtual machine within mac OS? Red Oak
I don't see why not. I run xp through parallels with great success. This is quite an accomplishment for me since I have no windows experience. I would check out the Parallels site to see how to get it to use your existing install of vista. In my experience with parallels if it works on a mac it will work for your hack. good luck Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/130158-running-vista-on-parallels-in-osx86/#findComment-922478 Share on other sites
Total n00b
Coolio! I thought it should work fine but I thought i'd check before I potentially crashed my system and ruined the flawless-install smell my computer had.
