In QuickTime>>Preferences>>Movie Size, i have the setting "Panoramic" and it is different from iTunes>>Playback>>Play movies and TV shows in>>Full Screen iTunes does not actually fill my entire screen...it shows some black colour either on top or in the side depending on the kind of video.
