anandus Posted October 7, 2008 Share Posted October 7, 2008 I've got this laptop: Acer Travelmate 8204 (bought it second hand) and it's quite hard to get OSX installed. I've looked through this topic, but it's a bit outdated: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=11192 For Leopard I tried Leo4allv3 and iDeneb10.5.5, but both hang on boot, unfortunately). For Tiger I tried Jas 10.4.8 PPF (or something), this boots and also installs, but I can't get the system started (kernel panic). Any suggestions on what distro to use, or how to get OSX installed?
