Sound working fine to no sound situation

Hi everyone.

 

I have a HP dv6179ea and about a month ago I installed Kaliway Leopard 10.5 in an external USB drive (ATA, 60Gb).

 

It was working almost perfectly except for wireless, but since I plugged the ethernet cable and I had internet I did not care.

 

But recently I needed that external drive for some backup, I reformatted it for windows, and when I tried to reinstall Leopard, the installation was fine but this time I had no sound.

 

This is really annoying me because I installed it previously several times and it was just fine and now I can't find a reason for having no sound.

 

So I just want to solve this problem and undertand why this happened.
