evan69 Posted October 6, 2008 Share Posted October 6, 2008 I am plannign on trying this hackintosh thing over again by patching it myself, will this work with the 10.5.4 retail dvd or only with the 10.5.0? also: http://lifehacker.com/software/hack-attack...-800-321913.php is this guide correct when it says that you HAVE to have that specific mobo? or is it okay to install that way, then get my drivers after the first boot? I just need some clarification really. do any of these slight differences matter? edit: also if I were to try to update to 10.5.5, would I be able to run the installer, granted it finishes, and then boot to the installer again to patch with the same usb thumbstick through the terminal.
