ajeeb Posted October 5, 2008 Share Posted October 5, 2008 hi, I have 2GB memory it's amazing , sometimes it's boot up with 1 GB (512 per slot) and sometimes 2GB and now it's 1.5GB memory seem to be OK I test it sepratly and works ok with detection but togethers not always fully detection what to do any hints? candykane Posted October 6, 2008 Share Posted October 6, 2008 If you read on it could be a heat problem when do you have these problems? @ cold boot when the machine has bin off for a long time or just after a reset? do you know if your mem is a matched pair? you can look in about this mac, @ the memory banks to see if there are ecc errors problem with this memory is it will not crash your system if its faulty. because of the ecc.
