CPraider Posted October 5, 2008 Share Posted October 5, 2008 Hey there Currently trying to boot iDeneb 10.5.5 from DVD, previously tried iAtkos v4 but to no success. (previous post see HERE - has some of my specs) went -v and it comes up with the following: ERROR: FireWire unable to determine security-mode; defaulting to full-secure. Still waiting for root device Still havn't managed to get to the installation stage. always getting hung up at the boot. If there is anyone who has come across this or knows a fix, I would be most grateful. Even if it's jumping this hurdle to get to another one I am a newbie, but I will spend time learning and I am eager to figure this OSx86 jazz out. Cheers. C.
