Acer Aspire 7720z : half screen display

Hi everybody,

 

I tried to install Kalyway 10.5.1 then 10.5.2 then Ideneb 10.5.5 on my Acer Aspire 7720Z notebook.

(Intel graphics GM965).

Installation is successful, reboot ok but :

 

Everytime the boot sequence is :

 

Apple grey screen ok (full screen)

Then Apple blue screen ok (full screen)

Then Apple video starts (running ok) but only on half screen ! On the left side.

 

I tried no driver during customization installation, then I tried firts intel driver then X3100 intel driver and it is always the same result.

 

How can I make it work ? It is not very funnny with an half screen !

Hi,

 

I just wanted to know if you found what was your problem since I have exactly the same on a Compaq's Intel X3100 with Iatkos v4 embedded paulicat driver.

 

On the mean time you can choose to uninstall the paulicat driver and you can have access to the full screen in low resolution mode.

I didn' t find the problem but I found one release working :

 

Jas 10.5.2 (installation ok, boot perfect, display ok)

 

Please note that Jas 10.5.4 does the same display problem : half screen display.

 

Did you find something new or a solution about the problem ?
