vrenlos
Hello everyone, First of all I just want to say thanks to anyone and everyone for all of the information in these forums! So far I've got everything up and running just fine, except my processor (Q6600@3.0GHz) isn't recognized as having 4 cores. I apologize since I'm sure this issue has been seen before but I've been digging through the forum for a few hours now and can't seem to find a definitive answer on getting this to work. The processor is recognized as: Model Name: Mac Model Identifier: P35-DS3L Processor Speed: 3 GHz Number Of Processors: 0 Total Number Of Cores: 1 L2 Cache: 8 MB Memory: 2 GB Bus Speed: 1.33 GHz I originally installed Kalyway 10.5.2, and then used the Kalyway 10.5.3 comboupdater and 9.3 vanilla kernel. If anyone has any info at all it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
vrenlos
Thanks to any who read this, I was able to figure it out. Didn't realize all I had to do was edit the boot.plist. Cheers!
