tuwenhsu Posted August 26, 2005 Share Posted August 26, 2005 Has anyone really got the broadcom 440x 10/100 built-in ethernet card to work? because it's listed on the hcl hardware page. but i have been trying to make to work for 2 days now and still no avail. please reply if you have any suggestions or ways that you've tried and works. p.s. : i am running native so if anyone got it to work on vmware, please tell me. Initially it didn't seem to work at all, but once I booted the system already attached to the router it worked fine. I'm wondering if it shuts down if no DHCP is found. Have not tried manual ip yet.
