I used -v and its getting stuck on: localhost mDNSResponder[45]: Couldn't read user-specified local hostname; using default bMacintosh-001F3AB15996. localb instead Help! Using a Dell D531: AMD Turion X2 2GB RAM ATI Chipset. I liked OS X enough to try to get it on my Laptop, im already using the vanilla kernel on my desktop!
