ramarc Posted October 1, 2008 Share Posted October 1, 2008 I have one more problem to sort out, then my install of Kalyway 10.5.2 is working 100% Well at least I think so! LOL My onboard Network adapter MCP51 (NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller) is working but my lan has a 169.254.xxx.xxx ip number and it should be 192.168.xxx.xxx (Connecting to router) Anybody know how to get it working correctly, I have installed the forcedeth driver during install and I have seen this problem around in the fourms before (http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=12933) but i'm not sure what I need to do to sort the problem out... System: AMD 64 X2 4200+ SKT939 Foxccon 6150BK8MC-KRSHGeforce6150B + nForce430 chipset 2 Gig Ram 400MHZ Geforce 8400GS-256Meg using PATA for install Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
