kenmitch
My Dell i9300 wont boot kalyway 10.5.2 so I used my Dell i9400 via a usb hard drive to load it. I just install to the USB drive and pick the options I think I need. Then when the install is done I do the reboot on the 9300 but boot from the external drive via the i9300 if install boots I then just swap the drive into the 9300. Seems to work ok for me. Just wish my i9400 didn't have that damn X1400 in it Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/128939-install-leopard-using-external-harddrive/#findComment-919769 Share on other sites
