huttonhenrysfinest
let us know what line it freezes on, how long did you leave it idle? on first boot sometimes it can take upto ten minutes in my experience
Evolbabyslime
I restarted it several times. It dosen't stop on a boot line. It shows me the gray background, w/ the dark grey apple and then the activity circle starts spinning and it sits there indefinitely. I left it for more than 24hrs. huttonhenrysfinest
ok, when u start up and it says press any key to start with advanced options or something like that press a key the type "-v" (without quotes) and you should se scrollling white text, read the last line it shows, i suspect it will be "still waiting for root device" - if it is, theres a few guides on how to combat it

Now I've installed iDeneb 10.5.4 and this one goes thru the text quickly, then gets in a loop and reoboots, over, and over, and over...
derekreid
The boot loop happens on SSE2 processors, which I think yours may be. Use the search to try and find SSE2 instructions, or try ToH RC2 distro. Or use Tiger.
