exido Posted September 28, 2008 Share Posted September 28, 2008 Im using dell inspiron 5300. When you start a pc the fan goes very loud and when i load into vista/xp it goes quiet. But when i boot into ideneb it never goes quiet. candykane Posted September 29, 2008 Share Posted September 29, 2008 Well the problem is you have a DELL machine but serius it has to do with the fact your kernel cant handel the powermanagement of your machine so everyting is working on max power. you sould check be looking for a new kernel and a powermanagement pack!
