bluescreens
Fusion 2.0 (the recently released version) works on Hackintosh (without Chameleon). Box is Dell Inspiron 530 with 5GB RAM; it's able to boot a 250GB "Boot Camp" (actually the other hard drive, which has a normal install of Vista 64 on it). It immediately starts installing VMWare Tools, so I am a little worried that my Vista64 install will be bootable on normal hardware (ie not in Fusion) but I have Windows Home Server to bring things back if required. So far it looks pretty impressive. No speed issues at all on a 5GB / Quad Core Q6600, all running MacOS from a 500GB USB drive. mrbash
Let me know about the stability of Fusion 2.0. I desperately want to use Fusion on my hackintosh but I get a lot of stability problems. Essentially the VM stays up a few hours or a day or two, then causes a kernel panic or lockup. I would like to know if Fusion 2.0 is more stable.
