fusion_05 Posted September 28, 2008 Share Posted September 28, 2008 Ok - heres the deal. I had a leopard and windows xp partition using MBR. I then decided I didnt need windows anymore, so I made an image of my os x partition on an external hard drive. I formatted the entire drive using GUID, restored using disk utility, and now I just boot up to a blinking cursor. I tried flagging the partition using Fdisk, but no dice. I tried reformatting the entire drive as MBR, and I still get the blinking cursor.
