DJElo Posted September 28, 2008 Share Posted September 28, 2008 Heya all, well, my 10.5.2 kalyway install on my amd works near flawless (some probs with dvd drive now and then) but I want to upgrade to 10.5.5. Ive got a mirrord partition that ive tried upgrading but each time it gets messed up, ive used various patched amd upgrades.. what im wondering is if it might be due to my bootloader.. Ive tried googling to find out exactly what bootloader version I have without any results. I think ive got the darwin one ( thats what it sais when it starts). Is that the one that gets installed by kalyway ? So, how do I find out what one i have and how to i get around installing pc_efi_v8 or chameleon ?
