Heya all, well, my 10.5.2 kalyway install on my amd works near flawless (some probs with dvd drive now and then) but I want to upgrade to 10.5.5.

Ive got a mirrord partition that ive tried upgrading but each time it gets messed up, ive used various patched amd upgrades..

what im wondering is if it might be due to my bootloader.. Ive tried googling to find out exactly what bootloader version I have without any results. I think ive got the darwin one ( thats what it sais when it starts). Is that the one that gets installed by kalyway ?

So, how do I find out what one i have and how to i get around installing pc_efi_v8 or chameleon ? ( afaik you can use osx86tools for that right?)

wkr

Well, after some testing i installed the chameleon bootloader on my testdrive..that worked all fine..

then I went on to install the new 9.4 modbin kernel and the 10.5.4 combo update (patched with amd patcher 0.2 bu zephyroth) and it installed fine..but yet again when i rebooted and loaded this screen came up :
