Beedy
Hello, I have a Dell dimension that I am trying to load MAC OS X 10.5.1 on. I burned the KALYWAY 10.5.1 iso to a DVD and started booting from the DVD. At the boot: prompt, I type in -v and ENTER. The screen starts scrolling with the names of files and drivers that are loading. When it completes this, my system reboots. Has anyone seen this behavior before? It shows the correct startup volume: hd(2,0) Leopard_Install_Osx86 Thanks for your assistance, Bryan N. mwilkes512
I am looking to install macOSX on my dell dimension 2400. I've reviewed different installation methods but am unsure what the easiest and most reliable way for me to get osX on my dell dimension 2400 would be. The system is stock (http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/dim2400/en/sm_en/specs.htm) with a pentium 4 except I've upgraded ram and have a PCI graphics card on the way (PNY GeForce 8400GS 512M). Recommendations would be greatly appriciated. Do I use iPC, iDeneb, USB dongle, boot 1-2-3, factory install DVDs? Thanks.
