kennelbound
I'm in the same boat. External (USB) mice work fine. I have sleep, display, sound, wifi all working. But the touchpad is borked. Thanks for any help guys. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/128368-1055-dell-1525-touchpad/#findComment-943645 Share on other sites
MiniBUU
I am using ideneb 10.5.5 and everything works for me except sleep when power supply is plugged in. My touchpad works out of the box with one glitch. Every once in a while the mouse will go haywire and usually it manages to remove one of my icons from my dock. So as a precaution I leave my dock locked thanks to Onyx. So I am not sure why your having issues or maybe your just experiencing my issue. werdna5225
If you are using an Inspiron 1525, and want the trackpad to work in 10.5.5, you have to have installed the ApplePS2Trackpad kext installed before you install 10.5.5. Otherwise you will just be permanently SOL. In 10.5.3, I had an extra tab show up in the mouse settings to adjust the trackpad, however after updating to 10.5.5, the trackpad works but I do not have the tab anymore. I also cannot sleep while plugged in, if anyone has figured this problem out, please post.
