Dxn
I've seen a few posts where people have mentioned that they have this motherboard and were able to get the on-board audio to work with Azailia, but I've been struggling for two days and still haven't managed to get the audio to work. Everything else (Ethernet, etc) is running fine (except for QE/CI on my 9800 GTX), but I can't get leopard to recognize the on-board audio either in the system profiler or as an input/output in the system preferences. Am I missing a BIOS setting or is there any special workaround I have to do to get audio to work? P.S. My system is based off of Leo4All v4.
Dxn
I finally managed to succeed in getting sound. The trick is to make sure you are NOT booted into safe mode, then install the AD1988b driver from the Leo4All 4.1 disk (which is just the AzaliaAudio driver with the device IDs configured. There are instructions on how to do this manually on these forums). Finally, install the Taruga_AD1988b_rev3_installer over the top and VOILA!
