elmartino Posted March 22, 2006 Share Posted March 22, 2006 Hi, I 've finally managed to install OS X on my AMD, but after I reboot the system, I can not type anything at my keyboard. It seems to be frozen ! I need it because of this stuiped registration! I got a MSI Neo 4 board and a regular PC keyboard (PS/2), so is there any thing I can do to get it work ?? Could be very nice, if someone can solve that problem of mine! I do not well know about MAC Os, this is why I want to learn it! realmadrid_chang Posted March 23, 2006 Share Posted March 23, 2006 you can solve the problem flowing these steps 1. borrow a usb mouse and a usb kb 2. osx boot, now you can use the usb devices 3. open a terminal window, proceed sudo chmod -R 755 /system/library/extensions/appleps2controller.kext sudo chown -R root:wheel /system/library/extensions/appleps2controller.kext sudo chmod -R 755 /system/library/extensions/appleac97audio.kext sudo chown -R root:wheel /system/library/extensions/appleac97audio.kex 4. reboot the system 5 now disconnet the usb devices and connect the ps2 mouse and kb back 6 reboot, it's done Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/12787-keyboard-problems/#findComment-81416 Share on other sites More sharing options...
