The Hemroid
No matter which install / kernel I use I can't seem to get my Hackintosh to recognize my Pentim D 2.8 GHz dual core processor. It should read "number of processors: 1, total number of cores: 2" but it says this instead. I've tried Kalyway, iDeneb, & Leo4all and all their included kernels as well as the ToH and VooDoo Kernels. Hardware Overview: Model Name: Mac Model Identifier: 945P-A Processor Speed: 2.8 GHz Number Of Processors: 0 Total Number Of Cores: 1 L2 Cache: 2 MB Memory: 3 GB Bus Speed: 800 MHz Boot ROM Version: MP11.005C.B08 Serial Number: CK034KMHK5B HELP! I really need to take advantage of the other processor for some video editing applications. Also, how can I ensure that this thing is running in 64 bit as well? System Specs below. The Hemroid
Figured it out... I had the CPUS=1 flag set on all my recent installs. Leaving it alone or booting with CPUS=2 recognized both Cores.
